This is the story of Jitendra Kumar, a resident of Jamui district, who runs a chaat shop. He has been running his shop continuously for the last 20 years and sets up his stall near Jhajha block office.
To get free food you just have to fulfill this condition
Jitendra Kumar told that to eat free chaat at the shop, people will only have to become children. He told that many children come to the shop who do not have money and even without money, he feeds the children for free. Even if a child has 5 or 10 rupees, he feeds Samosa Chaat to the children with that money. He told that he had to struggle with financial problems in his childhood. He has faced a lot of troubles from childhood to youth. Grew up in poverty. That’s why they don’t want the children who come to them to return without eating.
Had to wash plates for 50 paise
Jitendra told that there were a lot of problems in the beginning. In my childhood, I used to wash plates for 50 paise and then fill my stomach. When many people went to the shops for food, no one would give them food without money. Due to which one had to remain hungry. This is the reason why children are fed free today. He told that initially his shop was not doing so well. But, gradually this chaat shop has started running and now it sells up to Rs 3 thousand per day. We also earn a good income from this. He told that the shop is always crowded with children and they like to come near him and eat chaat.
